Sunday, March 31 was held the RUN FOR AUTISM INTERNATIONAL 2019, a running road race organized by Project Filippide and now in its 8th edition.
New for this edition is the route that winds for the 10 km of the competitive race in the center of the capital, with start and finish in the stadium Nando Martellini-Terme Di Caracalla.
Beside the competitive run the event also includes a 3 km free pace walk.
The RUN FOR AUTISM is the only competition in Italy and Europe entirely dedicated to raising awareness of autism.
This edition has seen the involvement of the Associations that adhere to Project Filippide, coming from the different Italian regions, but also delegations from foreign countries that have started Project Filippide such as Belarus and Slovakia.
"During the event, great participation is emerged at the PCP Autism Project presentation organized at the stand hosted by the N-DSA-N network, arousing great interest among the public composed mainly of professionals and/or people interested in the topic."
RUN FOR AUTISM 2019 has been included in the calendar of events for the International Day of Autism Awareness on 2 April, and in the international calendar of events for the International Day of Sport on 6 April (see 6april.org).
