DADAA association continues with activities aiming at promoting the physical and emotional well being of children and young persons diagnosed with ASD.

During the last three months, a class of occupational therapy takes place at our locals, where twelve children are being attended individually for several times per week by a professional educator/trainer as well as by volunteers. Moreover, in coordination with the local department of Democritus University, a class of virtual sports has been created and continues to this day. This is about young persons with ASD playing various sport games (volleyball, basketball, cycling, bowling, etc) by using a remote control over a screen depicting the environment of the said game and simulating the athlete's moves with the appropriate hand and foot gestures. A total of four children participate in this activity which is led by students of Democritus University in the range of their post graduate studies.

Also, on the 16th March, Vice President of our association, Anastasopoulos Dimitrios took part in the meeting of the National Federation of Associations with parents and caretakers of people with disabilities in Athens. Such a meeting happens every five years in order to elect representatives and decide about the main features of future intervention in national policies concerning their respective field. DADAA's deputy member has published a report referring to the meeting's most important works.
